Paget High School commits to ‘Let’s Go Zero’.
Paget High School has joined with thousands of schools and education establishments across the UK in committing to be zero carbon by 2030.
‘Let’s Go Zero’ brings together UK schools who want to be zero carbon, are reducing their own climate impact, and demanding greater support to achieve this goal, with the potential for schools to catalyse wider change in their communities.
To be part of the campaign, schools are expected to be taking action to reduce their carbon impact, measuring this where feasible, and have ‘next step’ actions planned for the following year.
Working towards greater sustainability and being more environmentally friendly is something that is hugely important to our students and staff, and so our task is to support that in any way possible.
More than three thousand schools have now signed up to the pledge, and we’re looking forward to being part of the conversation and sharing the best ideas to collectively try and make a difference.
