Mind – We are committed to developing independent learners, those who continually evaluate their own performance to strive for the best outcome and are confident in themselves to pursue their aspirations. Our ever-evolving curriculum develops perseverance, and challenges students to achieve their full potential while overcoming barriers, remaining calm and focused, and using different strategies to support their
wellbeing in a practical form. Our activities encourage strategic and analytical thinking and continuous reflection embedding skills used for a fluent and productive mindset. We also encourage an understanding of different cultures and beliefs, allowing students to develop their empathy, promoting a welcoming environment and further developing lifelong skills.
Body – It is evident that being active relieves stress and anxiety, encourages self-discipline, maintains focus and promotes a healthy body together with developing gross and fine motor skills in all students. We aim to empower our students to a lifelong commitment to the areas that underpin Performing Arts. Here at Paget, we deliver a generous curriculum to encourage students to develop these skills with greater confidence that encourages them to pursue a healthy and active lifestyle and careers within the Arts sector.
Within all activities, we motivate students to independently expand their skill set through a range of thought provoking methods and strategies. Students
are also encouraged to take part in a range of extra-curricular activities offered, compete against other schools and take part in regular performances
throughout the school year.
Spirit – We want our learners to flourish into well rounded individuals with great confidence who understand that determination, aspiration and hard work are the key to success. We allow our students to be risk takers, challenge others, build character, stay focused, achieve goals and be great team members ensuring etiquette and respect for all among many
other skills. Our curriculum also supports great leadership providing opportunities for all to experience this role and develop their communication, organisation, delegation and ability to adapt and excel in their confidence. We hope that these skills will benefit their everyday life and allow them to establish a chosen career of their choice in their journey after Paget.
