Your PPE will be AQA English Literature Paper 1.
To revise:
- Use your Knowledge Organiser for Romeo and Juliet use pages 8 to 28 and for A Christmas Carol pages 29 to 45.
- When revising Romeo and Juliet focus on the following characters: Romeo, Juliet, Lord Capulet and Lady Capulet: for themes focus on individual vs society, love and violence. The extract will be from somewhere between Act 1 to Act 2.
- When revising for A Christmas Carol focus your revision on the following characters: Scrooge, the three ghost and minor characters; for themes focus on revising greed, redemption and repentance. The extract will be from Staves 3 to 5.
- Create flashcards for characters and themes.
- Create a quiz for the Acts and Staves that the exam may be on. Create mind-maps/brain dump ideas on each theme.
