The domestic abuse act’s definition of DA is “any incident or pattern of incidents between those age 16 or over who are personally connected and the behaviour is abusive.
The abuse can encompass, Physical or sexual abuse, violent or threatening behaviour, controlling or coercive behaviour, economic, psychological and emotional or other abuse”.
